We in TwinPegs continue to make TwinPegs relevant for a larger portion of the adventure motorcycle community, by continuously developing TwinPegs product for new models. And now it was time to launch a product for the Suzuki V-Strom 800 DE! 😎🏁
Each design task have its own challenges and are unique for that bike, yet they are all in the same family, like siblings. And of course, every new kit build on the design experience from all the preceding kits. And the ergonomics are the same for all the kits, as these dimensions have been proved in adventure riding and racing all over the world. The design approach is basically just common sense, trying to tie together the attachment points as efficient as possible, with a structure that can be manufactured as efficient as possible, and are as lightweight yet strong as possible. Form follows function!
This kit will be available in aluminium color and black anodized finish, standard height and lowered height options. The only difference between standard height kit and lowered height kit, is the height of the rear footpeg. That must be matched with the height of the primary footpegs.
We have not seen a centre stand for the Suzuki VStrom 800 DE, so I can not say anything about the compability of this kit with a centre stand.
The pictures show 3D printed prototypes. The first batch will be manufactured early march. Currently available for preorder.
