1: The kit is compatible with all aftermarket primary foot pegs down to -20 mm tested so far, included -20 mm Bosley Pegs, Pivot pegz and Vanasche pegs. Very retracted foot pegs will probably be difficult to accommodate.

2: Rear base foot pegs are available in standard height or 20 mm lowered height.

3: The kit can be configured according to riders preferences by inserting included shims between fixed foot peg base and separate foot peg surface. Using the M5 grub screws for improved grip is optional.

4: Bracket loop is designed to be a luggage strap strongpoint with rounded edges.

5: Additional M8 hole for attaching luggage strap hooks.

6: The TwinPegs™ bracket is designed as a heel guard. It can be used with or without the passenger foot peg brackets or aftermarket heel guards. Two sets of spacer sleeves are available, 14,3 mm and 8,3 mm (for use with original passenger foot peg bracket) The fixed luggage racks tested so far with connection interface thickness less than 14,3 mm can be accommodated. Fixed luggage racks with thickness above 14,3 mm in the connection area must be modified. For example Vanasche.

The ergonomics and geometry of TwinPegs is developed via prototypes for enduro racing, and this particular kit is race proven in the Sunraysia Safari Rally, where Rally Dakar rider Andrew Houlihan won gold on a TwinPegs equipped KTM 890 in the adv class 10.sept 2022. TwinPegs for KTM 890 was also raced successfully by Michael “Mick” Jackson, who finished Finke desert race 22’ in Australia on the only heavy twin cylinder adventure bike in the race.

However, TwinPegs have probably even more to offer to the common adventure rider. Gain control and save energy while riding standing, and have more fun with your motorcycle offroad!

The primary foot pegs are still the primary foot pegs after upgrading with TwinPegs. The kit does not replace the existing foot pegs, it is an addition. The kit consist of brackets, adjustable rear foot pegs with return springs, and all attachment hardware. The kit is compatible with all aftermarket primary foot pegs down to -25 mm lowered tested so far. Pegs that are both wide, lowered and heavily retracted will probably be difficult to accommodate. If you are going to use foot pegs with standard height, choose the kit with standard height rear foot pegs. If the foot pegs are lowered, choose the kit with lowered rear foot pegs.

The height of the rear foot pegs is adjustable, so the kit can be configured according to the riders preferences, choice of boots, etc. Typically hard enduro riders adjust the rear footpegs far lower than adventure touring riders.

With heel support, softer boots may be used with success for increased comfort. The pivoting around the rear foot peg is shifted up to the ankle joint.

The kit is fully compatible with the original centre stand.

“It feels less like standing on a bar, and more like standing on solid ground”. Quote by Ryan Kluftinger, FortNine YouTube channel, about TwinPegs from the video “Why and when to stand on your motorcycle

“Definitely a great new experience when riding offroad in the standing position. The rider has more stable support at the feet due to a larger duel footpeg surface area. This reduces fatigue and extended pronation of the ankle allowing for more comfortable riding while standing. Rider input through the feet and legs is more direct and controlled allowing for better comand and riding technique.”
