My name is Jeff Kleist. My wife Linda and I are the owners of Vamoose Gear, an online (vamoosegear.com), adventure/dual sport motorcycle accessories business. I have been riding motorcycles for the past 49 years, starting with a homemade minibike to my current ride, a 2016 BMW 1200GS. With many bikes in between, motorcycles have taken me on numerous adventures, from cross-country rides to exploring the Idaho, Utah and Colorado Backcountry Discover Routes. Living in Southwest Colorado USA, there is an unlimited amount of riding choices available. From twisty, paved roads to steep, rocky trails that climb to over 13,000 feet in elevation.
When I first saw the concept of the Twin Pegs, I knew I wanted to try them out. One of my biggest issues when riding off-pavement, is I like to stand. It provides the capability to shift my weight as the road surface continuously changes under the bike. Over time, my feet become fatigued, even using larger, off-road pegs. With Twin Pegs, it should eliminate this problem and provide a much better platform to control the motorcycle over any uneven surface. Plus, when riding on pavement, it will provide a much larger surface area to adjust your feet, keeping you more comfortable in the saddle.
